Hank Costello is a self taught chef with a vast array of culinary knowledge. He has experience working with many different aspects of cuisine from comfort food to fine dining, Cajun to Peruvian, intimate dinner parties to large memorable events, menu creation to execution. He also lived and worked in Spain and was greatly influenced by their flavorful cooking.
While working as a chef in local Portland restaurants, Chef Hank became familiar with regional farmers and how to provide options for those interested in sustainable and organic practices. After a decade of restaurant experience, Chef Hank began a Portland based personal chef service specializing in preparing gourmet meals at your home utilizing the freshest ingredients available and customized menus.
Chef Hank is always striving to provide his clients with a service that adheres to the highest standards. He is licensed, insured and holds a current Oregon State Food Handler's Safety Certificate. Chef Hank is an active member of the United States Personal Chef Association, as well as the American Personal and Private Chef Association and follows their strict code of ethics.
